TV Recaps (3/29/2012)

Below are my recaps, okay, summaries, of 30 Rock and Community from Thursday night. Personally, I never read summaries of shows, I just re-watch them, but there’s a market so I’m writing them! The links will take you to my articles on TheCelebrityCafe. Underneath, I’ll go into some detail on the episodes strengths and weaknesses.

30 Rock Recap: Season 6, Episode 15 – ‘The Shower Principle’

  • Tracy Jordan – As always Tracy shines bright. Whether it’s him “playing” the news (like a video game) or signing on to “5nowdog5.” He’s always solid.
  • Hazel – Being a fan of Flight of the Conchords I’ve always liked Kristen Schaal. I think she’ll continue to be a great addition to the show.
  • Last Scene – Tell me that Jack Donaghy shooting rats in an abandoned warehouse is not hilarious. . .

  • Jenna’s Storyline – I’ve always thought that Jenna has been the weakest character on the show. This episode is no exception.
  • Lack of Kenneth – Even though I love Hazel, I feel Kenneth needs to be in the show more; there wasn’t a lot of him in this episode.

Community Recap: Season 3,Episode 13 – ‘Digital Exploration of Interior Design’

  • Vice Dean Laybourne – John Goodman hasn’t stared in many episodes, but he’s the best guest star they’ve had on the show. His story-line involving Troy and AC Repair School is subtly one of the best.
  • Pierce – He’s consistently the best character on the show.  . . Taking shots of ink. . . pretty funny.
  • Subway –  Since Scrubs I’ve always been a fan of “Keith.” He’s on Always Sunny too. I guess it was time for an episode of Community!
  • Annie – She’s distractingly attractive.

  • Troy and Abed – They’re usually the best part of the show. . . when they’re together. They go to war in this episode, so their usual banter wasn’t there.
  • Britta – I used to like her, but she’s becoming increasingly annoying. I could careless about her and her different romances.
Hey guys, just dropping by to post links to my NBA recaps from the last two days (Thursday and Friday). Plus as always, I threw in some Top Plays! Enjoy.

NBA Recap (3/28/2012)

I’m back writing NBA recaps as the season nears an end. Here’s a recap from last night… and as always, Top Ten Plays.

NBA Recap: Wednesday, March 28th

Back from North Carolina!

I’ve missed you all dearly and cannot wait to start posting again. I was gone for a little over a week, as I stayed with two of my friends in Beaufort, NC. While I was there I got to see a lot of what the NC beaches had to offer. I mentioned some places I’d be visiting in my last post and I can gladly say I visited most of them and more. Here are some notable places I went:

  • Atlantic Beach
  • Fort Macon State Park
  • Cape Lookout National Seashore
  • Cedar Island National Wildlife Refuge
  • Ocracoke Island
  • Hatteras
  • OBX

With that said, I’d like to post a bunch of pictures from my trip below. Take a look and tell me what you think!

P.S. If you compare some pictures I took, to the pictures of places I intended to visit; you’ll notice some similarities!

P.P.S. Click on any of the photos in the gallery to enlarge and scroll through.

P.P.P.S. All photos were taken on my Iphone 4s.

Spring Break — North Carolina

I’m sorry to disappoint all my avid followers, but I will be going on Spring Break this coming week. Therefore, my blog will most likely be lacking new material. I’m headed to Beaufort, North Carolina with a couple friends of mine. I’ve never been there before, but it should be a good time! It’s right on the beach and it’s about an hour away from the famous, possibly infamous? OBX AKA The Outer Banks. It’s also close to:

  • Rachel Carson National Estuarine Sanctuary
  • Fort Macon State Park
  • Cape Lookout National Seashore

So I’m hoping we get to check those places out!

If I do blog while I’m gone, it will either be run-of-the-mill entries during down time OR I will try and set up some photo blog posts. I was thinking of posting a bunch of pictures from my trip with a little description. Anyways, I’ll attempt to keep everyone updated! In the meantime, here are some pictures of where I’m going…

So I figured I’d wait and lump two recaps together, instead of just one at a time. Here’s a link to NBA recaps from the past two nights, which this encompasses all the games played.
BONUS: I threw in top plays courtesy of for you!

NBA Recap: Monday, March 12th

P.S. I’d definitely go with Biyombo’s block to win the game… get out of here Derrick Rose. PLUS, it helped the Bobcats win their sixth game this season!

NBA Recap: Tuesday, March 13th

One Does Not Simply…

Here’s another meme I made, which is once again referencing Fight Club. For some reason I can’t get off these references. I guess it is one of my favorite movies. Anyways, I figured I’d try to add a caption to an already famous meme and see if people like it. I’m thinking about having a posts with roughly 5, instead of 1 picture, from now on. We’ll see what happens!

Random Day, Random Things 5

Here we go, time for the fifth round.

So in case you missed the underrated Parks and Recreation and the increasingly worse Office. You can read what happened on TheCelebrityCafe. Eventually, I’m going to turn these recaps into more review-like articles. However, they’re currently straight up summaries of the episode. So if that bores you, feel free to play the typo game… See how many typos I have! It’ll be fun as I’m the self-proclaimed King of Typos.

The Office Recap: Season 8, Episode 18 — “Last Day in Florida”

NBA Recap (3/8/2012)

I’ve started writing up NBA recaps for Sportsrageous, instead of articles on individual games. These recaps will briefly discuss the games of the night and give the final score. Here’s one for last night…
