Hello everybody! I’ve been absent from my blog for some time now. Once I got back from vacation I didn’t have much motivation for new material. I was writing articles for TheCelebrityCafe and Sportsrageous and I neglected my own readers! (Hi, Ben). Anyways, I hope to start back up shortly. I’ve had some ideas for posts, yet I never motivated myself to write them. SO, hopefully this post will start an avalanche of new material to come. If not, enjoy some Random Things. . .

Back from South Carolina!

Waddup all!?

I’m officially back from Myrtle Beach, SC and I’m here to share my vacation with you. I have pictures for you to see and updates for you to hear.

I had a very relaxing time on the beach and with my dad’s side of the family. There wasn’t many downsides to my trip, other than I couldn’t meet up with my long lost friend, Ben Harmelin. He stayed in Wilmington, NC, which as I found out, was only an hour and a half away from me. Some of you might know Ben from his blog. Speaking of, any updates coming, ole friend?

Aside from missing out on a fun time, I had a fun time and I have pictures to show you. But first I want to tell you a little about what I plan on doing now that I’m back.

I feel like this trip has helped me to get some things together. Such as:

  • Eating better.
  • Working out.
  • Applying for JOBS on JOBS on JOBS.
  • Waking up earlier.
  • Getting ready for summer?

I’ve been needing to be healthier for awhile and I’m very motivated now that I’m back from vacation. I’ve already gone grocery shopping, so I can stop eating fast food. I’ve bought a membership to a gym for $116.59, so I can work out for 6 months straight! I’ve been waking up before 11am each day, and many of you know this might be hard for me. Plus I’ve been getting in more applications for jobs. However, I’ve only been back for 3 days and summer is coming up. I hope to continue this streak of creating a healthier lifestyle for myself for months to come.

Anyways, enough of the boring stuff. I’m back home, back to the grind (easiest grind ever, am I right?!), and back to blogging. So without further ado, let’s look at some pictures from my trip!

P.S. All photos were taken from my Iphone 4s.

Friends, Womens, Country Fans, lend me your ears! (I’m 98% positive that’s a real saying) I will be departing tomorrow for Spring Break 2012 ROUND TWO! However, this time I will be headed south, way south. In fact, I will be going all the way from North Carolina (SB #1) to SOUTH Carolina; I’ve heard it’s quite a hike.

Anyways, I’m going to the infamous Myrtle Beach with my family minus my mother (I’ll miss you, mom!). I’ll be gone for about 6 days, from this Wednesday (4/4) to next Tuesday (4/not 4). We will be there with most of my dad’s side of the family, so it should be a good time!

Now if you guys aren’t familiar with Myrtle Beach, let me familiarize you. Let’s look at some facts:

  • Myrtle Beach is in north(ern) South Carolina, so essentially you get all the Carolina’s have to offer.
  • It’s the oldest vacation spot around. I mean, I’ve been going there since I was THREE. I know, crazy.
  • It has more miniature golf and putt putt courses than the moon.
  • Dr. Suess’ Yertle the Turtle was based off Myrtle Beach. They couldn’t use “Myrtle” because it was copyrighted by The Beach.
  • Both Moaning Myrtle (Harry Potter series) and Myrtle Wilson (The Great Gatsby) were born in AND named after Myrtle Beach.
  • Myrtle Beach is often abbreviated BAMF. This, obviously, stands for Best American Myrtle Foundation.
Those are the most commonly known facts about Myrtle Beach, and now that you’re caught up, I shall continue. . .

That said, I’m done.

In summary, I’m going on a family vacation to Myrtle Beach for about 6 days. It should be fun. I’ve been going there for awhile, so I know what to expect! I will post pictures from my trip, as I did after my famed return from Spring Break 2012 round one — North Carolina.

Finally, let me leave you with some pictures of BAMF.

Back from North Carolina!

HELLO EVERYONE!!! I’M BACK!!!!

I’ve missed you all dearly and cannot wait to start posting again. I was gone for a little over a week, as I stayed with two of my friends in Beaufort, NC. While I was there I got to see a lot of what the NC beaches had to offer. I mentioned some places I’d be visiting in my last post and I can gladly say I visited most of them and more. Here are some notable places I went:

  • Atlantic Beach
  • Fort Macon State Park
  • Cape Lookout National Seashore
  • Cedar Island National Wildlife Refuge
  • Ocracoke Island
  • Hatteras
  • OBX

With that said, I’d like to post a bunch of pictures from my trip below. Take a look and tell me what you think!

P.S. If you compare some pictures I took, to the pictures of places I intended to visit; you’ll notice some similarities!

Spring Break — North Carolina

I’m sorry to disappoint all my avid followers, but I will be going on Spring Break this coming week. Therefore, my blog will most likely be lacking new material. I’m headed to Beaufort, North Carolina with a couple friends of mine. I’ve never been there before, but it should be a good time! It’s right on the beach and it’s about an hour away from the famous, possibly infamous? OBX AKA The Outer Banks. It’s also close to:

  • Rachel Carson National Estuarine Sanctuary
  • Fort Macon State Park
  • Cape Lookout National Seashore

So I’m hoping we get to check those places out!

If I do blog while I’m gone, it will either be run-of-the-mill entries during down time OR I will try and set up some photo blog posts. I was thinking of posting a bunch of pictures from my trip with a little description. Anyways, I’ll attempt to keep everyone updated! In the meantime, here are some pictures of where I’m going…

One Does Not Simply…

Here’s another meme I made, which is once again referencing Fight Club. For some reason I can’t get off these references. I guess it is one of my favorite movies. Anyways, I figured I’d try to add a caption to an already famous meme and see if people like it. I’m thinking about having a posts with roughly 5, instead of 1 picture, from now on. We’ll see what happens!
